Anna: Have a nice day at work Marsha!
아나: 오늘 직장에서 좋은 하루 보내세요, 마샤!

Marsha: You too, Anna. Oh, wait. Do you have pen and paper I can borrow?
마샤: 당신도요, 아나. 오, 기다려요. 제가 빌릴 수 있는 펜과 종이 있어요?

Anna: Of course.
아나: 물론이죠.

Marsha: We are meeting at this restaurant tonight.
마샤: 오늘 밤 이 식당에서 만나는 거예요.

Anna: What is happening tonight?
아나: 오늘 밤 무슨 일이 있는데요?

Marsha: Today is my birthday. We are celebrating at 7pm tonight. Did you forget?
마샤: 오늘 제 생일이잖아요. 저녁 7시에 축하하는 거예요. 잊었어요?

Anna: Sorry, Marsha! I gotta go! See you later!
아나: 미안해요, 마샤! 저 가야돼요! 나중에 봐요!

Marsha: Don't forget! Tonight ... 7pm!
마샤: 잊지 마세요! 오늘 밤... 7시요!

Anna: I forgot Marsha’s birthday! And I don’t get my paycheck until next week. I know. I'll make her a gift. I’ll just have to borrow a couple of things.
아나: 마샤의 생일을 잊었네요! 그리고 다음주까지 봉급도 못 받아요. 알아요. 선물을 만들거예요. 몇 가지 물건을 빌리기만 하면 돼요.

Anna: Amelia, may I borrow your stapler?
아나: 아멜리아, 스테이플러를 빌릴 수 있을까요?

Amelia: Sure. I can lend you my stapler, Anna. But please return it. It’s my favorite stapler.
아멜리아: 그럼요. 스테이플러를 대여해 드릴 수 있어요, 아나. 하지만 부디 돌려주세요. 제가 가장 좋아하는 스테이플러란 말이에요.

Anna: You can trust me. I understand. One time, I loaned my stapler to the wrong person.
아나: 저를 믿으셔도 돼요. 이해합니다. 한번, 제가 잘못된 사람한테 스테이플러를 빌려준 적이 있죠.

Anna: Thanks, Amelia. Thanks..., Amelia.
아나: 고맙습니다. 아멜리아. 고마워요..., 아멜리아.

Amelia: Don’t mention it. Bye, stapler!
아멜리아: 별 말씀을요. 잘가, 스테이플러!

Anna: Jonathan! Can I borrow your scissors?
아나: 조나단! 가위를 빌릴 수 있을까요?

Jonathan: Oh! Hi, Anna! What’re you doing?
조나단: 오! 안녕하세요, 아나! 뭐 하시는 거예요?

Anna: Can I borrow your scissors? Sorry to bother you.
아나: 당신의 가위를 빌릴 수 있을까요? 방해해서 죄송해요.

Jonathan: Yes, I can lend them to you, but you must return them. These scissors -- they are the sharpest scissors in the office. Watch.
조나단: 네, 빌려드릴 수 있죠, 하지만 반드시 돌려주셔야 합니다. 이 가위는요, 이 사무실에서 가장 날카로운 가위예요. 보세요.

Anna: Wow, those are sharp. I will be very careful.
아나: 우와, 날카롭네요. 아주 조심할게요.

Jonathan: Okay.
조나단: 알았어요.

Anna: And I’ll bring them back tomorrow.
아나: 그리고 내일 돌려드리죠.

Jonathan: Good.
조나단: 좋아요.

Anna: Thank you.
아나: 고맙습니다.

Jonathan: You're welcome.
조나단: 천만에요.

Anna: Happy Birthday, Marsha! (gives Marsha a gift)
아나: 생일 축하합니다, 마샤! (마샤에게 선물을 준다)

Marsha: Thanks, Anna! I love birthday gifts! Anna, it is … interesting. What is it?
마샤: 고마워요, 아나! 저 생일 선물 좋아해요! 아나, 이거 흥미롭군요. 이게 뭐죠?

Anna: Well, I know you love hats. And you need office supplies. So, this is your own office supply hat!
아나: 음, 당신이 모자를 좋아하는 걸 알아요. 그리고 사무용품도 필요하잖아요. 그래서, 이건 당신의 사무용품 모자예요!

Marsha: Wow! That is a lot of office supplies!
마샤: 우와! 사무용품이 많네요!

Anna: Many people loaned or shared their supplies with me. Some people really love their office supplies. It has paper, pens, tape, erasers, rubber bands, binder clips, paper clips, and a light!
아나: 많은 사람들이 사무용품을 빌려주거나 나눠줬어요. 어떤 사람들은 정말 사무용품을 좋아해요. 여기 종이와 펜, 테이프, 지우개, 고무줄, 바인더 클립, 종이 클립이 있어요, 전등까지요!

Marsha: What is the balloon for?
마샤: 풍선은 무엇을 위한 거죠?

Anna: The balloon will help your friends find you. Let’s try it! You get a seat in the restaurant - I will find you!
아나: 풍선은 친구들이 당신을 찾는걸 도울 거예요. 사용해보자고요! 당신이 식당에서 앉아계시면 제가 찾을게요!
