Peter: There’s the shoe store we’ve been looking for. It’s just across the street.
피터: 우리가 찾던 신발가게가 있어요. 바로 길 건너에 있네요.

Gail: Wait! You can’t cross the street in the middle of the block!
게일: 잠시만요. 블록 중간에서 길을 건널 순 없어요!

Gail: You have to cross at the corner.
게일: 코너에서 건너가야 해요.

Peter: Oh, come on. Let’s go across here.
피터: 오, 제발요. 여기로 건너가요.

Gail: Look out! You nearly got hit by that car!
게일: 조심해요! 하마터면 저 차에 부딪힐 뻔했잖아요!

Gail: Now do you see why you should cross at the corner?
게일: 이제 왜 코너에서 건너가야 하는지 알겠죠?

Peter: I guess you’re right. I’ll be more careful after this.
피터: 당신 말이 맞는 것 같네요. 다음부터는 조심할게요.
